Answer: No...registering is absolutely free unless you choose to become a verified member...see question below.

Question: How do I become a verified member?

Answer: You become a verified member by paying $2.00(US) to us, into our Paypal or Google Checkout Account, this will help us and other verify that you are whom you say you are therefore giving other verified members peace of mind.

Question: I'm under 18 and can't signup?

Answer: In accordance with standard law under 18 cannot participate in auctions as they legal binding contracts.

Question: I'm not from the US, can I still register?

Answer: DollFan Auctions welcomes sellers and buyers from a variety of countries.

Question: Just what will it cost me to advertise and sell at DollFan Auctions?

Answer: It depends. Please see our Site Fees page for normal listing and end of auction fees. If you choose the "Paid Store" option which you can sign up for within your members area once registered there is just a flat fee which is $20 or $30 per month depending on the type of store where how many items that can in the store at any given time dictates the type of store. Users of a "Paid Store" do not have end of auction fees.

Question: So you're saying I could sell, let's say, 10 dolls every month, and I would only be charged $20 per month?

Answer: "Yes. You could sell, let's say, 20 dolls per month ,and you'd only be charged for your "Paid Store" fee of $20 per month.With the "Paid Store" option additional fees would apply if you choose highlighted items, category feature, home page feature, etc.

Question: I only advertise on auction websites once or twice a month, and I do not wish to pay $20 or $30 per month for the "Paid Store" option, so just what will it cost me to advertise and sell on DollFan Auctions.

Answer: You can still sell individual items and are not required to have a "Paid Store". You may upload as many as 6 pictures of your item for free though minimal setup fees(if selected by you such as selecting your item to be featured in a category) and final value fees apply.

If your item did not sell first time advertised, you may list it again for free.We allow a further 3 free listings per item.

Question: What payment options are there?

Answer: To DollFan LLC we currently accept PayPal and Google Checkout. There are a wide array of payment options to choose from for buyers to sellers many which can be set up by sellers for direct payment via the DollFan Auctions website....sellers as well have the ability to generate and send invoices to the winning bidder for offline payments as well.

DollFan Auctions recommends this option for those who plan on making many auctions and/or the items to be sold are of enough value where normal final value fees would be higher than the flat monthly charge for a store. NOTE: When you take out the store option other fees may apply if, for instance, you choose to have an auctions listed as featured on the home page, have it listed in additional categories, etc. The list of possible additional fees can be found in the Site Fees as well as when you list your auction.

There are two different store options. The Basic Store allows for 10 items at any given time which is $20 per month and the Advanced Store allows for 20 items at any given time and is $30 per month.

The store owner will receive an invoice on the 2nd of every month.

This invoice will be for the amount of $20 or $30 only.

Setting up your store is a very easy task. Once you have logged in with your username and password, click on the Members link at the top of the page. From there, a new menu will appear on the left side of the page.

Under 'Seller Features' click on the 'Store Setup' link.

You will now be taken to the Store Setup page. Edit each page the way you like, and customize it how you prefer. Your store is now setup!

The Anti-Sniping time feature is set at 10 minutes

The Anti-Sniping time of 10 minutes set by admin works as below,and will cover the time from which the auction is due to end and the time by which it will extend, so for example:-

Admin setting = 10 minutes

Scheduled end time:- 12:00
Bid placed at:- 11:51
New end time:- 12:01
Bid placed at:- 12:00
New end time:- 12:10
Bid placed at:- 12:05
New end time:- 12:15

Basically, if your auction is scheduled to end at 12:00 and a bid is made within the last 10 minutes of the auction your end time will increase by another 10 minutes from the time the last bid is placed. If another bid is made within the new 10 minute extension your auction end time will increase by another 10 minutes and so forth. It will continue to extend the end time of your auctions until no bids are placed in the last 10 minutes of the end time.
